Our Story

F.C. United was formed in the Spring of 2014 from several existing teams operating independently.  We had 3 girl's teams with various skill levels that were competitive but not always the optimal mix of players for some of the larger clubs we faced.   We often competed against each other and realized over time we needed to do more to support the growth of our players.  We wanted to solve 2 main problems.
  1. Stop losing talented players to bigger clubs.
  2. Improve our ability to attract players to a united club rather than one inherently divided because it was named after specific cities or towns.
To solve these problems, we combined our teams for the 2014/15 season under F.C. United (Four Counties United).  Since the change we've been able to attract youth athletes from new areas like Tipp, Vandalia and Northmont and whole teams whose coaches and parents have seen the benefits of our combined program.  We are excited about the prospects for future and look forward to growing the club.

Vision

F.C. United is focused on creating competitive teams based on combining the fantastic talent found in our young athletes in the Northern Counties of the Dayton Area.  We promise to never:
  • be political
  • place players without considering ability
  • put our ego first
  • forget that fun is why they work so hard

Philosophy

We have an all volunteer coaching staff that is passionate about teaching a European game style focused on possession and choosing when to attack.  We teach fundamentals and teamwork as the competitive advantage against teams dependent on individual play.
